Describe the bug
The HIP-specific source code in AFQMC doesn't compile.

To Reproduce

cmake -DCMAKE_C_COMPILER=mpicc -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER=mpicxx -DBUILD_AFQMC=ON -DBUILD_AFQMC_HIP=ON

hit compilation error likely due to years of ROCm evolution.
