Description

We have Pump0 and Pump1. Once PDU 24A PRs are verified and merged, we need to get right on actually writing the high level code to control the pumps.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Pumps controllable according to motor cooling project specifications and parameters, or manually controllable

Proposed Solution

Discuss with Motor Cooling lead Noah Crane. Multiple options, including:

  • Enable when motor or sensor temperature rises above X, disable when falls below X (with a 10+ second debounce,l probably an infrequently run task)
  • Enable via CAN message using the CAN message sending system for the car. Talk to Jack or Harrison about how to write the CAN JSON for that.

Also since pumps have independent lines, do we do 1 or 2 pumps together, seperate, etc.
