Minecraft version

1.20.x

CodeChickenLib version

CodeChickenLib-1.20.1-4.4.0.516-universal

CBMultipart version

CBMultipart-1.20.1-3.3.0.146-universal

ProjectRed version

ProjectRed-1.20.1-4.20.0-beta+5-core

What happened?

Good morning, When I installed the Project Red Core and Transmission mods, everything worked correctly at first, with no issues. However, when I built cables and saved the game, I experienced problems loading it again. After saving, the game would get stuck on the loading screen, or sometimes the world wouldn’t render, and I couldn't move the player. I tried creating a new world, and it opened fine initially, but after adding wires to the ground and saving, the same loading issue happened again. I tried deleting one 'region' file in the savegame, and the game loaded without problems, but the cables and other items were missing, so I had to rebuild everything. Unfortunately, saving again caused the same loading issue

How do you make it happen again?

o make it happen again, I build some cables in the world, save the game, and then try to load it again. The issue occurs after saving with cables placed in the world, as the game gets stuck on loading or doesn’t render properly when I try to reload it

I've resolved the issue. it turned out to be a conflict between mods. I removed unnecessary mods and kept only the essential ones, including Project Red and its required dependencies. Now everything is working fine, and the game loads without any issues after saving with cables. Thanks

The same problem occurred to me.
In my case, it was caused by “Starlight”, a lightweight light source mod.
No logs exist because the problem freezes when loading saves.

Mr. Jumper39 would have the same cause.

@Jumper39 Thanks for the update. Which mod was it specifically? Would like to keep a note of it in case I ever need to look into this

Hi @MrTJP ,

I have screenshots of the mod list before and after I resolved the issue. The "before" list includes the mods causing the issue, but I'm not exactly sure which specific mod was conflicting with Project Red. After simplifying the mod list to only essential mods (Project Red and its required dependencies), everything works fine without any problems.
