I am building a modpack, and discovered that both VillageNames and Runic Dungeons use the entity designation "Guardian", and unlike most other designation types (biomes, potion effects, etc.), There appears to be nothing I can directly do to fix this short of choosing one mod over the other.
I am using RunicDungeons-1.1.7b on Minecraft 1.7.10. The conflicting mod is VillageNames, which adds the underwater guardians from later versions under the name "guardian". When they both try to load, the game crashes.
Not really either mod's fault, but I am posting here in hopes that this version is still supported and perhaps the entity name could be changed, as "guardian" is in conflict with a vanilla and backport entity name. I'm also suggesting that VillageNames give it a different name at base, but I don't know how well that would work.
For what it's worth, I think "Runic Guardian" or "Dungeon Guardian" would work quite nicely in your mod.
