Another fun feature would be to allow the use multiple cameras and the operator to switch between them to cover more areas without a 360 camera or wide-angle.

This could be useful at Tibble if you want to use a spot when someone walks down the stairs to the side of the audience. A second camera could be pointed to the stairs. Or a second camera pointing to the Sheriff's HQ (front-stage on stage-right).

Challenges:

  • quick switching of the camera feeds, maybe both can be loaded and switching which camera is read from
  • not making weird moves when the camera is switched. The P/T could maybe be automatically frozen until the operator confirms the mouse is in the correct position after switch
  • clear separation of calibration file

Using only one camera, different zoom/crops could be super useful for some extra accuracy?
How about having different views/crops accassible via numbers, and cameras via ctrl-numbers?
