Multiple attributes prevents placing

When a device has multiple attributes it prevents it from being placed if it is expanded.
However, here expansion is the only way to edit the attributes that are trial dependent. This will lead to extensive
expanding/collapse that will be very uncomfortable.

how would you like it to be shown?
limit on the width and expanding vertically when no more room?
optional attribute editing dialog even when the attributes are collapsed?
