Greetings,
Thank you for putting together these notebook, they have been extremely helpful. When working through the MIRISim_IMA_1Zw18_eg.ipynb I can upon the attached issue. Is there some way that I can either a) download the missing file from somewhere or b) update the files in my CRDS list? (In truth, this last part may be a question for STScI). Thank you!

looks like you don't have all the pysynphot models downloaded properly

Hello,
Could you explain this a little further for me? I have conda installed the latest version of pysynphot but still receive this error, is there another (better?) way to install pysynphot?

Hi Mason,

PySynphot requires data files that are distributed separately from its Python software package. The MIRISim-MIRICLE install script ordinarily will download those data files, so it sounds like either the install was interrupted (it can be a long download), or perhaps they were installed in a different directory from where your PYSYN_CDBS env variable is now pointing. You could try to re-run the MIRISim-MIRICLE installation to see if that will complete the download.

Alternatively, you can retrieve the PySynphot files manually and read more about PySynphot installation on their user guide at: https://pysynphot.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html
