When trying to add non English (Armenian or Russian) word to relevant dictionary, it was added to en_us dictionary. Keyboard at that time is set to Armenian or Russian layout.
I'm using custom layouts

The issue template is asking "If possible, provide all the necessary steps to reproduce your problem" for a good reason.
In this case: I have no idea how your're adding the word. Please provide that information.

In my phone settings I set "Spelling correction" -> "Default spell checker" to "HeliBoard Spell Checker".
When I typing some non-english (f.e. Armenian) word that isn't in dictionary, it highlighted with red.
Then I do tap on that word -> ADD TO DICTIONARY, and word is added to dictionary "English (United States)" instead of "Armenian" dictionary.
Phone Samsung Galaxy note 10 and Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra, both with stock firmware.

In this case there is nothing I can do. This dialog is coming from the Android system, and I have not found a way to influence where it adds the words.
Only thing you can do is set the spell checker language in Android system settings, but this just sets to which dictionary the words are added.
