Since there's no update for a while, I believe we can safely assume the project is abandoned. And #233 also briefly mentions that.
However, I believe, what the project provided can still be useful in another project. Wazuh uses OpenSearch stack unseat of ELK. But it's mostly compatible with previous versions of ELK. And also, Wazuh does agent based vulnerability scan, even though it is primitive. The Logstash enrichment and Kibana dashboards can be valuable additions to what Wazuh provides by default. Even if it is not merged to main, it would be a viable option for us users to know how to benefit from VulnWhisperer on a Wazuh cluster.
