Seemingly while I was adding a new linking book modifier to one of my ages via the Plasma>Add>Linking Book premade options, I had the two nearest Linking Book Objects deleted (Functioning Nexus and Chiso Preniv links), forcing me to recreate them. Notably, those modifiers had been made in previous installations of Korman, but IDK if that has any additional influence on the method.

Incident happened while using Korman 0.16.

Screenshot was taken immediately after creating new linking book.

Potentially, this may be related to This Issue as its possible they vanished before I added the new modifier and just didn't notice.

Were the other two linking book objects deleted or was it the modifiers that were removed from the other two linking books?

the linking book panel aligners, the seek points, and the clickable regions all vanished. The physical book props i was using as clickables did not vanish.

EDIT: Basically, all the stuff that gets placed by the 'add linking book' menu option disappeared for those books.

Can you go into the outliner, change the mode to "Orphan Data," and see if the objects still exist in the file but they simply became orphaned? Note that if you don't see them, Blender may have disposed of them if you've saved more than once since the book objects vanished.

Also, it may be worth investigating if those book objects are in another Scene.

There's currently nothing under orphaned data, but that said, i have saved over a few times since then, given it was four days ago.

checked all scenes, only my recreated objects appeared again- and im fairly certain that they were deleted either in that moment, or had the same issue dpogue had in the thread I linked where they vanished before hand, because the first new linking book I made that seemingly triggered the delete from my perspective was made without any .### suffix. When I attempted to recreate one of the deleted linking books, its components had the .001, and the other recreated missing linking book wound up at the bottom of the list as all the other linking books in the age had not been deleted.

Ok. I tried to reproduce this but could not. We'll have to hold off here until we can make a blend file that does this consistently.

thanks, Adam, im not even sure if it is reproducible or what even caused it to happen in the first place. If anyone ever runs into the same issue, this thread is here!

The Blend File where this happened is HERE.

The two previously deleted linking books have been recreated for Chiso and Nexus. The Reischu Apartment link in the ObductionSeedSwapper is the one that seemingly deleted the other two when I used the plasma menu's 'add linking book' button.
