Forever Stranded "Killing" Quest Looping

Hi,
i'm currently playing this Modpack and we've just completed the "Killing"-Quest.
A few years ago, we had the same issue that the Quest is looping infinitely.
We've tried some solutions provided on Forums, like changing the repeat time in the config, but it wont work.
It is really annoying while playing this modpack.
How can i fix it?
