My 2 cents about this: EMODnet data are currently scattered between several geoserver and erddap instances, as the main goal is that it can be published in the emodnet geoviewer and sometimes geoserver offers better capabilities than erddap and viceversa.
Neither EMODnetWCS/WFS or rerddap alone will be comprehensive, but they offer scripting access to the bits of data hold in each system. At some point in the future this will be better organized, but for the time being EMODnetWCS/WFS and rerddap complement each other in gathering EMODnet data.
@salvafern this is a question to help me improve the README. why would one use rerddap instead of the EMODnetWCS or EMODnetWFS, what's the difference?
