Q: Why I get an error when I start the server like this:

A: You need to add this to your JVM arguments:
--add-opens java.base/java.lang=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens java.base/java.lang.reflect=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens java.base/java.lang.invoke=ALL-UNNAMED
