Awesome Cyberdeck - Software

This is a list of software that may be useful for CyberDecks.

  • Awesome: The Awesome Manifesto list, a list of all sort of awesome things, mostly software.
  • Awesome Raspberry Pi: This list is a collection of tools, projects, images and resources conforming to the Awesome Manifesto.
  • Awesome-Linux-Software: This repo is a collection of AWESOME Linux applications and tools for any users/developers.
  • Pi-Apps list: Rasberry Pi Software List.
  • Pi-Apps software: The most popular app store for Raspberry Pi computers. 100% free, open-source and written in shell scripts.

Communications:

  • WeeChat: (Wee Enhanced Environment for Chat) is a free chat client, fast and light, designed for many operating systems.

CyberSecurity:

  • Pwnagotchi: A2C-based "AI" leveraging bettercap that learns from its surrounding WiFi environment to maximize the crackable WPA key material it captures.
  • Aircrack-ng: Aircrack-ng is a complete suite of tools to assess WiFi network security.
  • Cyberdeck: CyberDeck is a script designed for setting up a web pentesting environment. It installs a wide range of essential tools for network reconnaissance, vulnerability analysis, exploitation, and is specifically tailored to web security testing.
  • Bjorn: Bjorn is a sophisticated network scanning, vulnerability assessment, and offensive security tool designed to run on a Raspberry Pi equipped with a 2.13-inch e-Paper HAT.
  • Infection Monkey: Infection Monkey is an open-source adversary emulation platform that helps you improve your security posture using empirical data.

Data Management:

  • balenaEtcher: Flash OS images to SD cards & USB drives, safely and easily.
  • HDD Raw Copy Tool(windows): HDD Raw Copy Tool is a utility for low-level, sector-by-sector hard disk duplication and image creation.
  • imgclone: This program can be used to create a backup of your Raspberry Pi SD card while it's active.
  • Raspberry Pi Imager: Raspberry Pi Imager is the quick and easy way to install Raspberry Pi OS and other operating.
  • Raspberry Pi Imager(GitHub): GitHub repo for Raspberry Pi Imager.
  • rpi-clone: rpi-clone is a shell script that is for cloning a running Raspberry Pi booted source disk (SD card or USB disk) to a destination disk which will be bootable.
  • SDCardFormatter: SD Memory Card Formatter for Windows Download.

FM Radio Transmitting:

  • PiFM: Turning the Raspberry Pi Into an FM Transmitter.
  • PiFmAdv: This program generates an FM modulation, with RDS (Radio Data System) data generated in real time. It can include monophonic or stereophonic audio.
    • PiFM GTK: PiFM GTK is an extension to the already popular PiFmAdv repository developd by Miegl. This extension features a small number of additional files that greatly assist the procedure to install and set up the software.

Fonts:

  • Codeface: Typefaces for Source Code Beautification
  • WipEout Fonts: Fonts from the WipEout series, remade in OpenType format.
  • mononoki: A font for programming and code review.
  • Awesome fonts: A curated list of fonts and typography resources.
  • Nerd Fonts: Nerd Fonts is a project that patches developer targeted fonts with a high number of glyphs (icons).

Gaming:

  • Dwarf Fortress: Dwarf Fortress is a construction and management simulation and roguelike indie video game created by Bay 12 Games.
  • NetHack: NetHack is an open source single-player roguelike video game, first released in 1987.
  • pokete: A terminal based Pokemon like game.

GPS and Mapping:

  • FoxTrot GPS: FoxtrotGPS is an easy to use, free & open-source GPS/GIS application that works well on small screens, and is especially suited to touch input.
  • Ulysses Mapping Program: An offline and online mapping program created using CustomTkinter and TkinterMapview. Incorporates a settings system and an offline tile downloading addon.

Media:

  • FFmpeg: FFmpeg is a collection of libraries and tools to process multimedia content such as audio, video, subtitles and related metadata.
  • FIM (Fbi IMproved) image viewer: FIM is a highly customizable and scriptable image viewer for users who are comfortable with software like the VIM text editor
  • mpv: a free, open source, and cross-platform media player
  • Simple Internet Radio: A minimal internet radio with analog input controls for volume and tuning.
  • ytfzf: A POSIX script that helps you find Youtube videos (without API) and opens/downloads them using mpv/youtube-dl
  • mtPaint: mtPaint is a painting program which Mark Tyler developed from scratch so he could easily create pixel art and manipulate digital photos.
  • GIMP: GIMP is a cross-platform image editor available for GNU/Linux, macOS, Windows and more operating systems.

  • mRemoteNG: Multi-Remote Next Generation Connection Manager.
  • PiHole: Network-wide Ad Blocking.
  • PiVPN: The simplest way to setup and manage a VPN, designed for Raspberry Pi.

Offline Internet:

  • Internet in a Box: It's a digital library software that includes a wireless access point and storage, and can be used by nearby users. Provides access to essential internet resources without an internet connection.
  • Kiwix offline internet/wiki: Kiwix is a free, open-source, non-profit software project that allows users to access the internet without an internet connection.

Raspberry Pi General:

  • PiKISS: A Bunch Of Scripts With Menu To Make Your Life Easier.
  • PiGro: All Settings In One Place!.
  • pigg: - Raspberry Pi GPIO GUI An app for Raspberry Pi GPIO Output control and Input visualization, built in rust using the Iced GUI toolkit and rppal GPIO crate.
  • RasComm: RasComm is a communication device that translates plain text into Morse code (IMC) visually or audibly.
  • sdm: Raspberry Pi SSD/SD Card Image Manager.
  • stressberry: a package for testing the core temperature under different loads.
  • sysmon: An intuitive remotely-accessible system performance monitoring and task management tool for servers and headless Raspberry Pi setups.
  • TorTiPi: a tool to setup the Tor based wifi hotspot on Raspberry Pi.
  • pigg - Raspberry Pi GPIO GUI: An app for Raspberry Pi GPIO Output control and Input visualization, built in rust using the Iced GUI toolkit and rppal GPIO crate.
  • PiOSK: One-shot set up Raspberry Pi in kiosk mode as a webpage shuffler, with a web interface for management.

SDR:

  • SDRangel: TX & RX Software Defined Radio.
  • Gqrx SDR: Open source software defined radio by Alexandru Csete OZ9AEC.

Utilities:

  • Cool-Retro-Term: A terminal emulator which mimics the look and feel of the old cathode tube screens. It has been designed to be eye-candy, customizable, and reasonably lightweight.
    • Third Party Themes: Themes for Cool-Retro-Term.
    • MatrixHasYou: A script that simulates with the exact right times on the terminal the four messages recieved by Thomas Anderson ("Neo") at the beggining of the popular film "The Matrix".
    • Fallout3Terminal: Fallout3Terminal is a version of a Fallout 3/4/NV Terminal operating system, complete with the ability to write journal entries, and in-game sounds from Fallout 3 itself!
    • crt-themes: Themes for Cool Retro Term.
    • Rosé Pine for cool-retro-term: All natural pine, faux fur and a bit of soho vibes for the classy minimalist.
  • Putty: PuTTY is an SSH and telnet client.
  • tmux: tmux is a terminal multiplexer. It lets you switch easily between several programs in one terminal, detach them (they keep running in the background) and reattach them to a different terminal.
    • Tmux Configuration: Tmux configuration, that supercharges your tmux and builds cozy and cool terminal environment.
    • Tmuxinator: Create and manage tmux sessions easily.
  • eDEX-UI: eDEX-UI is a fullscreen, cross-platform terminal emulator and system monitor that looks and feels like a sci-fi computer interface.
  • Terminals are Sexy: A curated list of Terminal frameworks, plugins & resources for CLI lovers.

Weather:

  • Pi Weather Station: This is a weather station designed to be used with a Raspberry Pi on the official 7" 800x480 touchscreen.
