Hi,

Just started watching the tutorials on Python for Beginners on YouTube. I think I did all of the installations correctly. Just a quick question. I managed to get the intro.py file working okay. But when I go to start another .py file, the text coloring and other preferences seem to have disappeared. Am I missing something or do I have to reset user preferences every time I start a new file? I checked the packages. The theme packages are still installed. I'm running all of this on a Mac Studio M2 Max with OS Sequoia 15.1 (I know).

Thanks. And this is my second code I'm attempting to try to learn (C++ was too much for now).

Edit: Nevermind: I realized I didn't save as... the file as a .py file. But my 2nd message is still occurring.

Also I get this error message every time I open Sublime Text:
"Error trying to parse settings: Expected ':' in Packages/User/Anaconda.sublime-settings:9:5"
