XP Generation

In an effort to move away from Minecraft's tradition of experience grinders, Civcraft leverages FactoryMod as the sole source of experience, in the form of Exp Bottles, which can be used in both traditional and non-traditional manners.

Traditional, bottles can be broken to gain levels, which can be used to repair equipment on the anvil. Non-traditional uses include as a factory fuel, as the cost for deterministic and probabilistic enchantment factories, and other uses. They can be combined into Emeralds, and from there into Emerald Blocks, to ease storage and transport.

In addition, this move created a wide and diverse market for trade, as the most efficient XP generation recipes require substantial and diverse forms of ingredients. It did not impact the overall value of "grinders" as they are still useful for the various unique drops that monsters in Minecraft produce, but removed them from being central to the process of gaining experience levels.

Factories and Recipes

Each section begins with the bold name of the 'Cauldron' used to generate XP, followed by the cost to install. Follow the instructions for installing a factory as described here.

Note that all recipes require stacks of items compacted using the General Compactor.
