When the plugin is active on a tab, we see the activity icon (red circle)

And if we have several open tabs where we constantly switch between two and in turn have to switch the sound channel manually.

Why not make a checkbox in the plugin settings, with which we allow the plugin to automatically activate itself on the active tab?

But in this case, other problems arise.

1. what happens if we need to activate the plugin to listen to music in the background and switch to another tab to work?
2. In a situation where we don't need to activate this plugin on the active tab, but it is activated automatically, what should we do?

Possible solutions to the problem:
To solve problem 1, you need to give the user the ability to pin the tab selection for audio processing.
This could be, for example, a key combination after clicking in the active tab, we boldly go to another tab and the plugin continues to process the previous tab.
OR
A pop-up hint asking to pin.
If we ignore, the behavior does not change and the hint disappears after 5 seconds. And if we change our mind, then it is enough to simply click on the plugin icon to call the hint again.

If we do not ignore, then we click on "pin" in the hint and after 5 seconds it disappears and the icon (red circle) in the tab changes to a pinned red circle.
You can also use both methods for convenience.

To solve the second problem, you can use a set of solutions.
*. In the plugin settings, create a Blacklist for sites that the plugin will not process.
*. You can also create a Whitelist to add sites with video and music that the plugin should process automatically in advance. (The plugin can also automatically add sites that we often pin to the whitelist.
*. Add the line "Open in a new tab without a plugin" to the browser context menu (right mouse button)

These are all small ideas, but an important aspect is UX (User Experience) and it is important to make the use of the plugin more convenient and easier, as well as more intuitive. The more pleasant it is to use the product, the more you want to use it.
