We need to be able to adjust to varying demands of different users and team sizes. Some teams may require more memory (e.g. using playground, concurrent experimentation) vs some other teams may require more capacity in the DB.

Profiling

The goal is to learn and figure out what sizing variants we need to build towards.

  • [phoenix] add ability to profile db footprints of phoenix instances
  • [phoenix] create operational dashboards and documentation
  • Arize-ai/arize#40453
  • [phoenix] enable OpenTelemetry for tracing
  • [phoenix] add prometheus scraping of phoenixes and

Sizing

  • [phoenix] add a PG variant in the manifests of the provisioner
  • [phoenix] gain insight into memory footprint
