Opening bookmarks or active thread strongly conflicts with Android 12 back gesture #1389

I got a new phone today, and the default option is apparently no longer the navbar, and it strongly wants me to use gestures.

Anyway, at default sensitivity it is nearly impossible to open either menu. At low sensitivity I can manage it, though it's annoying.
Here's a screenshot of the gesture zones:

On a related note, the app doesn't do anything to the standard navbar. It would be nice if it could be recolored to match your theme

A lot of other apps do this, or at least make it semi-transparent.
