Hello! Big big fan of the mod, been using it forever.

Recently implemented Create in my modpack along with copper pipes, and one of the things I've noticed is that Pipes are just much more convenient than belts, to the point where we don't really explore that side of Create as much as it would be intended.

I was wondering if by chance, to fix this issue, we could get a little config that allows us to input transfer speed by state of oxidation. The idea is that transfer would get slower and slower until eventually coming to a full stop when a pipe is fully oxidized.

This would up the stakes in maintenance and force us to actually use the waxing mechanic - It would provide, I feel, a fair tradeoff with Create's belts. Pipes being faster and more compact/versatile (but high maintenance), compared to Create's belts which require a more expensive starting setup, while being less compact/versatile, but also more reliable.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Waxing a pipe doubles its speed already
in any case it’ll be a while before I add anything new to this mod

No yeah, I understand that! I'm not really looking to speed em up, rather to slow them down to a full stop as they oxidize.
Is there any way this can be achieved with a datapack by chance?

Unfortunately not, it’ll just have to be implemented later.

If I were you, I’d expect the update some time after Wilder Wild 2.5 releases.
