I'd like to put one of the dual outlets on a freezer in the garage and monitor it as occasionally a storm or surge has caused the gfi circuit to blow and it has to be reset to resume power (has happened three times in 20 years). If not noticed everything can thaw which results in throwing out hundreds of dollars in food. Googling show the original software could monitor it and in homebridge it's showing a proper status for things. I'm setting up routines from alexa for these devices.

Also thanks so much for providing this. This method is so much more stable than the original software. Heck I just ordered 2 more kits (4 switches + dual outlet) from untilgone.com for $25 each. I've set some things up so my good morning and good night routines use the light on the outlets and nightlights which works well.

I am glad you find this plugin useful. I don't remember seeing anything indicating if a plug is in use or not but I haven't been looking for one. I will dig into this and get back to you.
