Clear and updated guidance on a complex process to apply for external training
Current behavior
The document says you can add alternate approvers or email the events team for help if a supervisor doesn't auto-populate. I cc: them on a recent request and received the following information.
Unfortunately, the submitter's ability to manually select an alternate supervisor on the SF-182 document has been removed from the platform. As it currently stands, users will need to reach out to the SF182 IDPteam <[email protected]> to have an alternate supervisor added to the SF-182 document.
Possible solutions
Update the handbook guide to reflect that the process has changed
Work with the events team to improve the guide with clarity about how to complete the form since the OLU example is mostly blank
